BinSentry has appointed Justin Wong as vice president of corporate development, adding an agtech and corporate finance executive to its leadership team as the company seeks to expand its global operations. The appointment, announced August 25, 2026, will put Wong in charge of corporate strategy, business development, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and capital planning.

Wong brings more than 14 years of experience in agtech, corporate finance, M&A and business growth. Before joining BinSentry, he spent nearly a decade at Indigo Ag, where he led corporate development and strategic finance initiatives.

“I was drawn to BinSentry because it has already proven that it can solve a very real operational problem at scale,” Wong said. “There is an enormous opportunity ahead through new products, markets and acquisitions, and I’m thrilled to help shape BinSentry’s next phase of growth.”

Wong began his career in investment banking at Piper Jaffray, advising companies operating in agriculture, biologicals, renewable energy and industrial markets. He later moved to Indigo Ag, where he was involved in financing and strategic transactions.

During his time at Indigo Ag, Wong was responsible for more than $975 million in equity and debt financings. He also led acquisitions, carve-outs, strategic partnerships and the creation of new business initiatives.

His arrival comes as BinSentry positions itself as a global technology provider for the animal feed supply chain. The company develops solutions designed to improve efficiency, reduce costs, increase profitability and enhance safety across feed operations.

BinSentry combines optical sensor technology with software to provide customers with tools for forecasting and operational management. Its technology is currently monitoring more than 65,000 assets every day across North America and South America.

For BinSentry CEO Ben Allen, the appointment reflects a new stage in the company's development.

“I’m proud to welcome Justin to the leadership team at a very important moment in BinSentry’s trajectory,” Allen said. “We’ve made the transition from innovative startup to a global enterprise with the technology, the infrastructure and the resources to work at scale with some of the world’s biggest companies. Justin will play a key role in developing our global strategy to keep that momentum going and take BinSentry to the next level.”

The company expects Wong's experience to support its next phase through new markets, products, partnerships and potential acquisitions. His responsibilities will also include evaluating capital needs and opportunities to expand the business.

The appointment reinforces BinSentry's focus on combining agtech, data and automation to address operational challenges in animal feed management. Its sensor-based technology allows companies to collect information from physical assets and use that data to improve planning and decision-making.

Wong's background in M&A and strategic finance could also become relevant as BinSentry evaluates additional opportunities for expansion. The new executive joins the company with experience in both financing and transactions across the agricultural technology sector.
